Have a Bahtinov mask custom-made to fit your telescope or lens hood.
 
Please let me know the required diameter, or choose from the list of masks I have already made, and a bespoke mask will be 3D-printed from durable, environmentally-friendly PLA plastic. Maximum diameter is 290mm (which roughly corresponds to a 10" telescope) and all masks are tuned to your focal length, subject to manufacturing limitations. Each mask has an oversized finger tab and is coloured white for easy handling in the dark. For simplicity, all masks are the same price regardless of size.
 
Please note that due to normal design limitations the mask will not be a snug fit. It will sit loosely but securely on the end of the telescope.

Only one dimension is needed; please measure your telescope as below:
Refractor or hooded lens - Measure the inside diameter of the dew shield as shown in the picture.
Reflector - Measure the inside diameter of the tube end as shown in the picture.
Unshielded optics (e.g. catadioptric telescopes without a dew shield) - The raised ring on the mask will need to fit around the outside of the tube instead of inside, so measure the widest outside diameter near the end for these.
A photograph of the end of your telescope would be helpful too (please email to sales@astroprinter.co.uk), and please let me know the focal length (zoom lenses are fine) so I can optimise the pattern. If you use a focal reducer, include that. Any questions, please get in touch.
